it seems like reflections are not working when using the d3d version of (
http://www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/) the updated renderer (opengl works fine).is this a known issue or am I missing something?

Open deusex.ini, find the section [D3D9Drv.D3D9RenderDevice], change ShinySurfaces=False to ShinySurfaces=True
There are other interesting parameters to play with, too, I suggest backing up the ini and experimenting a bit.

yes,I know, but for some reason, enabling the shiny surfaces did not work (I have tried it before)..figured there might a problem with the ini file itself,so I have deleted it,the game created a new one,and this time shiny surfaces enabled fine..so problem solved :thumb:
