Hi all! I've already asked this question in regards to Thief 1/2, and I felt it was appropriate to do the same for Deus Ex.
How would I directly extract the Deus Ex soundtrack? It works differently than the Thief soundtrack, and I'm not overly familiar with the process.
I currently have the music file copied, but the music is listed as .umx, which my computer will not read?
Any advice? I appreciate everyone's time!

(
http://www.un4seen.com/) XMPlay lets you play those files and it's considered one of the more accurate players for more exotic formats. It's got some nifty functions to record music directly to a file, too. Note that an UMX file can contain more than one track, so if you want to record ALL the music from Deus Ex you need to keep that in mind.

Get it in .mp3 format, it's floating around the net. Just did a search on Youtube and (

I know I converted mine from .umx to .wav. I came across a player which played .umx files but also had a "save as .wav" option. Trying to remember the name of it but it was many years ago... I want to say "Modplug" or something similar but I can't be sure.

There's also an audio cd bundled with "deus ex goty" release. Some good tracks are missing, some have been altered a little bit, but anyway a nice cd for collectors. If it's illegal I'll remove the link.

I saw that part of the Deus Ex soundtrack was available through TTLG. Also true for the Thief soundtracks. What's the legality of those?
I'm trying to purchase the CDs, but I'm not seeing too many options. I'm not sure they're even available.
