Is there a way to extract the sounds and music of Deus Ex into usable .wav files?
P.S. I've always wondered if there was a Mission Editor for Deus Ex.

I don't know about the sound, but programs like modplug can play the music files directly. Keep in mind that the files contain ambient, action, conversation, death, etc music for the levels they are used in.

Mission editor? Of course! See the Cassandra Project forums in the forum list? That's a fan made Deus Ex campaign.

You can use ModPlug, although it's complex. I've also heard that you can DL a plugin for WinAmp that plays .umx files (Unreal music format, used in DX) but I've never tried since I don't use WinAmp.
As for the Mission Editor, there is one. All Unreal Engine games use variants of the UnrealEd editor. The Deus Ex version is available on Ion Storm's (
http://www.ionstorm.com/downloads/) Download page. It's called the Deus Ex SDK (Software Development Kit)
