There's so little info about this (Are forum accounts compromised? Shouldn't Eidos be wary of allowing registration again so quickly? Etc.) that I could almost think it's a ridiculous ARG. It is ridiculous either way.

Yeah, seems more likely to be some kind of viral marketing. If it turns out to be, talk about shitty timing - pulling a stunt like this right after Sony's debacle.
