The fan blades move too past to get through them, IIRC, but I think you can destroy the fan with some well-placed explosives. The shaft opens onto the bunker elevator, or something.
^^Simons is one of my favourite characters too. Lots of good quotes.
WS - "I am a.. patient man."
NSF - "Ask me if I care."
WS - "....but not that patient." *BLAM*

Is there any way to hear that convo and not get a dressing down from the MIBs later?

It's in Area51, on the surface. In the large hangar with the MiB's inside, there's a ventiliation shaft. Unlock the vent grate at the floor of the thing, and you can crawl in - you'll be just above the rotary blade and massive drop. Tracer Tong calls, telling you that the shaft leads into the facility. Immediately after he finishes, Page says "Jump! You can make it!" Quite funny.

Ah yes, I know that place. Thanks :)
Another one I like is Manderley's famous:
"And stay out of the women's bathroom, JC, it hurts the agency more that it does you"

He does not appear if Gunther is alive but does if he's unconscious. Took me quite a while not to kill him. That makes only one kill on my list (excluding The Big-Area-51-You-Know-Who). Go me!
It's possible to let Gunther live? :wot: How'd you pull it off? I always kinda liked that guy . . . :erm:

Shoot him till he runs (gotta be really careful, hit his legs or arms) and when he runs, give him a KO arrow. Everything is possible with KOs! Go KOs!
Well, except for Flatlander Woman. You have to return and kill her unconscious body to get the key. :erg:
EDIT: You can of course just run yourself, too. He is not the cleverst and won't find you with his super "I can see your heart pounding" eyes.
'Why contain it? Let it spill over to the chools and churches, let the bodies pile up in the streets.'

"Intimidation through violence is the last resort of the weak." - Bob Page contradicting himself in an interview I found in a newspaper in the Chateau DuClare.

I just love the intro. Bob Page is such a great bad guy. :ebil:
"We've had to endure much, you and I, but soon there will be order again, a new age. Aquinas spoke of the mythical City on the Hill. Soon that city will be a reality, and we will be crowned its kings. Or better than kings.... Gods!"

Right. Almost any game I know reqires its intro to end with some explosion, great views or at least some irritating pictures (DX2, for example), but in the end of the DX intro, the screen is just pitch black. This impressed me a lot.

While throwing utility pushcarts at Manderley:" Youll behave like a professional, thats an order." (not funny but add the sound of liquor bottles smashing over his head as he says it.)

It always amazes me that this is never mentioned when discussing dx quotes, I just find it so terribly amusing:
Anna: Don't tell me you're going to wear those sunglasses during a night operation.
JC: My vision is augmented.
Best line evar!!!
sorry.
Anyway, as far as not killing anyone, I think the only two that I had to off (as in kill or KO, I tried to do a whole game without doing either) were anna and that guy guarding the missile that you have to launch at a51, though I've heard that there are ways to get around killing anna.
