Why does Deus Ex: IW works slow on my PC if i have:
Windows XP
80 Gb's Hard Drive
1.99 GHz Pentium 4
512 Memory Ram
256 Video GeForce FX 5500
Sound Blaster Live sound card

Have you installed the latest patch? (1.02) That improves the performance greatly over vanilla IW. Also, while the rest of your computer is pretty good, your RAM may be a bottleneck. 512 is a lot, but it's starting to get outdated.

Ah. Yes. I'm not sure if the demo was ever updated or not, but I'm fairly sure it wasn't. In which case, yes, it'll run like an overweight slug.

I got the same problems with Thief DS
