Has anyone tried playing Deus Ex using Classic-On-Intel? I can't get it to work. It gives me a memory error.

You may wish to give Wine a try. I use it to run the Windows version of Deus Ex on Linux regularly. Make sure you use the third-party opengl driver for DX though, as those included with the game are crappy and Wine's d3d support still has bugs. ((

Darwine - the pure version of wine for OS X - still lacks of 3D support and isn't comparable to the Linux version. Codeweavers's CrossOver however already supports d3d to open gl conversion and already a number of games. :cheeky:
A special version, "CrossOver games" seems to support Deus Ex quite well:

Don't forget that DX also has a software renderer. It sure aint pretty, but if you don't want to buy CrossOver, it's a potential option.

Deus Ex has also good quality OpenGL support if you use 3rd party patches.
