Deus Ex Multiplayer Help

So I got Deus Ex GOTY. When I go online and try to join a server, all the servers say "engie version does not match" what does this mean, and I can i fix it?

Have you installed any patches? If not, try (http://www.fileplanet.com/118166/110000/fileinfo/Deus-Ex-GOTY-version-patch) this patch.
