As much as everybody here would love to see Deus Ex put on film,
there is a very good possibility that it will not get made. Recently,
President Bush's Chief of Staff Andrew Card and Economic Advisor Karl Rove
went to Hollywood and ordered them not to make anymore films that portray
government in a bad light. These are the times that try people's souls.

Look how the Pentagon was closely watching the productions of films like
Black Hawk Down and Windtalkers. In return for use of military hardware and support
studios must make changes to scripts in order to keep that support. If not,
the film would suffer from budget problems. The Pentagon has always used Hollywood
as its propaganda arm. Top Gun was a big hit a the box office and as a result more
youngsters joined the Navy. There were in fact a dozen war films in production prior to 9-11.

I'm sick of this 1984 Orwellian bullshit. America is supposed to be home of the free. If i want to i sohuld be able to make a movie that shows bush with a dunce hat on, and being raped by Saddam or Bin Ladin or something. While bashing the us military in as many ways as i can. Now I don't want to sound anti-american, etc. But i don't want to sit here while the US turns into a Police State.... I just hope that people come to their senses pretty soon. If i can get elected senator I'll do ALL i can to undo the "bush plan."
Ok, now back to Deus Ex. I don't think that will affect the movie if its already in production. But as far as i know it is nothign more than an idea...
Though I sincerely hope against hope that it will be filmed, produced, and completed. Adn will open the eyes of people to both the sad state america is in, as well as how great a game DX is...

The good news is that a lot of Americans are waking up and there is a backlash.
Now it is known that 1 out every 69 Americans have filed for personal bankruptcy.
Bush's approval ratings are really really low. To launch a war by staging another
provocation in the States is the only card the government can do. And already
people are already suspicious about the official story of 9-11. There is so much
evidence now that the government let it happen and may have even done it.
Osama had absolutely nothing to do with it. There is no Al-Qaeda. It's
all a distraction. More people are switching to alternative news sources.
We can defeat this thing I am sure of it.
