Those top-downs are kind of micro-managed.
I mean, after all that, you could build them yourself.
I mean, good luck with the project, and maybe once I've got less on I'll volunteer to help with the mapping.

Some of the mappers like to have a detailed schematic layed out for them, others prefer to work from scratch. A few of our levels would be impossible to map like this, but the indoor ones are easier.
Anyway, Ziemanskye, if you're interested drop me a line at Justin_Permenter@baylor.edu once things settle down for ya. Or, my MSN name is Duality1984.

:D
Give me a month of so, and maybe check out my TDS maps so you can see what I've done before - you might decide my work is in-appropriate or not high enough quality or whatever (better to check before I start work for you)
Two Steps (or Townhouse, depending on if we're going by mission or filename)
and
Impurities in the Mix (or Schism)
Sadly all the old engine stuff got lost, since the HL and UT maps would be more appropriate to a DX mod. Generally I'm slow at making textures but like doing interesting things with lighting effects, and like to have coherent internal style/thematic elements - though most mappers do that bit :thumb:
And sometimes having a strict plan is better. It makes building quicker, that can't really be denied, but it is easy to overlook engine aspects when you plan, so you have to rework things, and deviating from such plans can be painful and time consuming. That's a large part of why I'm behind schedule now.

The TDS stuff looks very nice indeed! (I'm a bit envious of Thief's lighting system, but you did say that was your specialty :D ). Anyway, I'd love to see some samples of your work in Unreal when you get a chance. Of course, I understand about the time constraints and all, so just shoot me an e-mail or post a screenshot when you're available. :thumb:

This sounds interesting (and I tried to do a DX mod ages ago, but it fell through), so you'll hear back from me.
Assuming I don't forget about this :p

Excellent, we're looking forward to hearing from you!
Just a small update-
We're currently testing our newly-skinned and animated SMG (as well as a new pistol- the wap9, which may replaced that fugly 10mm standard pistol from the original game).
Our mappers are also working on including some nifty little suprises in several of the maps. I won't explain more, but let it be known that MIB will include lots of rewards for the patient gamer... :cheeky:

Lots of new screenshots available over at Mod Db. Our homepage has also been updated quite a lot.
