Oh aaarrrggghhh!!! I finally beat the first boss & made it to China. I find that inspite of my first impressions I'm liking the game more and more. Not as immersive as I was hoping, but still enough to hold my interest.
Now I'm stuck and have been for the past 40 minutes: I can't hack the damned terminal at the Hive (for Malik's/Lee side quest). I've searched the Web but can't locate a cheat code for the damned thing either. If anyone knows how to hack this blasted thing please let me know! If I could, I'd just blast it to Kingdom Come and be done with it, but the game won't let me do that.

This may not be the best way to do it, but here's how I got past that point.
If you managed to convince the "bartender" in the VIP lounge to see Tong, then you can go downstairs in The Hive without reprisal. If not, you'll have to stealth around down there and knock out the employees.
There's a staircase down in the basement, that leads up to a door that exits into the VIP lounge. What I did was open the door, knock out the guard in the VIP lounge from behind, and drag him through the door into the stairwell. Then I shut the door. The other guards in the VIP lounge might notice that guard was knocked out, but because you closed the door they can't see you or the body. So they'll give up eventually.
Then you can open the door again, walk over to the computer terminal by the curtains, and hack it in peace.EDIT: Crap, misread your post.
I see you want the code. I don't think it's provided anywhere in the game. You need to hack the terminal, or use an auto unlocking device. You might be able to buy an unlocker from someone at the Alice Garden Pods, if I remember right. Or even scavenge and find one there.
Also, try typing in 0415. I read somewhere that might be the code for that terminal.I'll leave up my strategy for dealing with the guard, anyway. Just in case anyone came up with a better method for tackling that situation.

As far as I know there's a sewer backway into the basement as well.
This is the panel Malik wants hacked after you've gotten Lee's confession, right?
If you've not figured out by now, you need to upgrade your capture software. I was kind of a tard and needed Renzatic to tell me how, and I felt like an even bigger tard after. It's in your praxis menu.

No, it's a different panel, it's used (or even usable) only for that sidequest.

As far as I can tell, that security panel for the sidequest can only be hacked. No evidence of a code for it.
I would highly recommend having at least capture level 3 at around this point of the game anyway, unless you're going for a hackless run - there are a lot of terminals and stuff in upcoming areas that you'll have to pass up without it, and many of the details add nice flavor to the stewpot.
As you've probably surmised, you can leave The Hive and come back to finish up Shanghai Justice after you've scored a few more Praxis, if necessary.
If you haven't found them already - A pair of Praxis kits are at: The bottom of the elevator shaft of Hengsha Court Gardens, and behind a breakable wall in the sewers near the ladder to the Hung Hua hotel. You can shoot/blow up weak walls if you don't have the aug.
