It's a Flash-based site. Sucks for usability but you know the artistic types have their priorities.

And some people just like to bitch needlessly about every other little thing :joke:. It's fun oversimplifying (or maybe I read your comment wrong) to the point where, if this statement is how you feel, ALL Flash sites offer no 'usability' and are merely for 'artistic types' and 'their priorities'. I could just as easily make an over-arching comment about all television shows sucking because of
Days of Our Lives. Yes, I think over-arching is what I was going for ;)

Must have some content blocker in place, or else you don't have the freely downloadable Flash player installed, though if that were the case, you should've gotten a notice to head over to macromedia to get it. I use Proxomitron for ad/pop-up/content blocker, and my friend set up some filters for me... except they automatically translate embedded Flash SWFs into links I have to click on to load. Of course, he's running on a 56k, so I can see why he'd want that for himself ^_^

Right - since im a full time flash dev and needed a quick site being put up asap it was written in flash :) However - I will be writing a PHP one as soon as possible as we have out-grown flash for our sites needs :)
Appologies to all who have been annoyed by the flash - but I havent had time. I work full time and I run 1 mod and contribute to another - gimme a break ok? :)
btw - we are still in need of serious texture artists - the modelling side is cool but the texture dept. has slowed up a tad.

Can I just interupt the pointless bitching about Flash which has nothing what-so-ever to do with the topic of this thread and say that those textures look real sweet.
