I still hate the Gunther model. Not the team, not the idea of it, or the work put into it. The model. It pulls me out of the game, as to me it doesn't mesh well into the game. It sticks out. It looks ridiculous. I don't want it in my game.
I can't believe I returned to this thread to find all of this crap. Way to go, DaveW for taking the internet personally.

It's with a little embarassment that I ask this: how do you enable cheats when running HDTP? I use the Mod Loader to play the Thievery mutator, under HDTP. I would like to load the Gravity Gun mod, but I need access to cheats.

Ulp! I didn't notice the topic being full of sh1t. My take: once upon a time I worked in a mod and especially during the first months, everybody threw shit at me. Since I'm a punk grown up on the streets, I came down to their level and fought them... but it's not the right way. It is much better to wait until you, hopefully, put together some fame and you can make others feel guilty by advocating how hard the work has been for you and your team. Many will feel pity and leave, possibly a donation. ;) Still, haters and people who don't like you will still be there: just live with it, but don't demand gratitude. And those who don't like it: once you have made your opinion known, quit the bitching. Overally, making mods made me a little more cynical about dealing with people.

And I also have Shifter installed. Basically I solved the problem by installing HDTP manually, as a replacement for old textures, instead of running it separetly with its executable. A side effect of the instability were corrupted savegames.

Well done for reading the last page of the topic. At no point was I demanding gratitude (don't confuse me with the mod team), and I made the clarification of what I meant very clear to Papy.
D'Juhn, you told people (me and Papy) to stop talking about Gunsmoke's post - and then he comes in and starts talking about it again. The only reason I pointed it out was because I knew you wouldn't (as you have done, funnily enough). Top class moderating there. :thumb:

I did not want people to talk about GUNSMOKE. I have no problem with people talking about THE HDTP PROJECT
If you really don't get this then I just give up with you. If you're going to carry on being an offensive nuisance in this forum then something more permanent will be done to you. I hope this is clear enough.
