Rough rant but very true. Aiming too high is what kills most projects. Particularly Total Conversion Syndrome.
ADDENDUM: On the subject of Total Conversion Syndrome and Cassandra, perhaps if there had been more concentration on the development of the story and architecture instead of all those fancy gadgets and weapons, more could have been accomplish, that's just me talking. This was a team-based project after all and I don't have any way of know all that happened, so chances are my logic is flawed.
