Ah, I always wondered about that.

Ahh!

Wow, you fellers are pretty sharp. I didn't find any that I'm aware of. Where the hell have I been?? :p

Okay, now, this is a REAL long-shot here on my part - I barely spotted this:
1) In the Jet Li film "Romeo Must Die", at the beginning of the film, in the night-club, there are two lesbians dancing with each other. Shortly, a major fight breaks out.
2) In Deus Ex, in the Hong-Kong night club, the "Lucky Money", you can spot two lesbian dancers. Shortly after that, the MJ12 commandos make a raid on the club.
Connection?
Fluke?
Madness?

Didn't "Romeo Must Die" come out after DX?
Amorpheus on 25/7/2002 at 18:33
IMDB lists both as 2000. I think Romeo Must Die was before DX, though.

Originally posted by Singing Dancing Moose As I said before, Chad, the leader of the french terrorist group, is wearing the "smiley-with-a-bullet-hole" shirt, the same shirt the hacker was wearing during the System Shock intro. Uncoincidentally, Chad and co. are known for hacking. Yes, uh, that's in the first thread. Purpose of this second thread being the reporting of new references/eggs that are found, not making another copy of the first thread ;)
But thanks anyway. It is archived, as I said. As soon as I can get cooperation from a couple of people, a couple of pages featuring them all will go live. So please don't post any repeats, guys :) I have them.

Well I waited. And I waited. And it seems that the boys at Ion Storm are a little busy working on Deus Ex 2 at the moment, so I'm not going to wait much longer :)
The first draft of the Big List is viewable here. Note that I probably will change the layout to multi-page with each page containing each of the categories.
If there is anything that should be added or revised, please let me know via private message, email, or note in this thread. Please be concise though! Also, I should note that there are only one or two topics which haven't been added but are definitely in my mind at the moment (Hela & Nordic references for one, and one other I believe) that have been confirmed but haven't been added in yet pending further details from current- and ex- employees of Ion Storm :) Keep 'em coming!

Very nice. :)

(though which ending Henke refers to is beyond me, for I have not seen that piece)
In the end of Ghost In The Shell, after a fight with a tank that resembles a spider,
the main character merges with an AI.
Excellent movie, you should watch it. And there's more - thermoptic camo, AI and cyborgs, which aren't mentioned in your list. Really very similar to DX, I'm quite sure you'll love it. ;)

Actually.. that movie just came on last night and earlier this week on some obscure movie channel, and I had the opportunity to watch it both times! Superb indeed and very reminiscent! :D Another high recommendation from me.
