I've searched for mod's or others to give LAN cooperative mode for Deus Ex but have't found any. So is there any or is it even possible? I would definetly love cooperative in Deus Ex because I loved it in SS2 too!

A Co-op mode in theory sounds good, but think of the method of play and the skill points, i think it would be too hard to make something cohesive.

Where SS2 had its set objectives(usually turn this on or insert something here)
DX is more exploration based. (have a nosey here, climb this etc)

The levels are designed to be difficult for one person, With two people its just easy, with more its just pointless,same with SS2.

I think my idea(http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80043) (shameless plug) that someone could mod the multiplayer to have something similar to co-op only different would be good. It would be kinda like Enemy territory as in depth. But there would be objectives like steal this photograph that. It would take alot of work and proboly a dedicated server

Well maybe the XP points could be shared 50/50..

Easyness wouldn't be that disapponting matter to me since you can make it difficultier by playing with knife only or something.

There IS a DX co-op. It only ever released a beta-version, and it needs specially adapted maps; of which there is one: DXCoop_RydbergField. It also needs the Team UC mod loader.

You could max out the enemies too... people die way too fast in Deus Ex for my taste. Give them higher HP or just trow in more cannon fodder... and some bots perhaps? Then it would be a challenge even for 2 players.

Oh, and about the skill thing: Something must force the players to choice different specialities... both going expert rifle would also make it too easy... perhaps edit some levels so that setting off the alarm REALLY makes you tremble with fear. Make some levels more Thief-like so you can't just do the dual death dance all the time. To do something like say; blow the UC you need to activate 2 controls at different ends of the level... so you'll be forced to separate and work like a team.

Anyway it would be really nice. [SPOILER]The "You and Paul vs. Everything in HK" battle is my all time favorite in Deus Ex.[/SPOILER]
