I found the first hour of play almost unbearably shitty, but it gets alot better from thereon.
The story is quite nice, not really as compelling as that of the prequel, but nontheless interesting throughout.
What really sucks is that this game could have easily been as good as its predecessor, if not better. Some changes to the core gameplay elements of DX1 were really needed, and I even like the way some of them were executed (augs going from relatively useless apparel to biomods, many of which are useful; distinction between regulated and "black-market" biomods, etc.). Then again, some elements are so dumbed down (I hate to use this term, but it simply cannot be described any better) that I want to slay the designers. Universal Ammo? WTF?! Skills system completely ditched, replaced by a much less unique upgrade-your-biomods approach, which lets you have all your biomods at maximum level half-way through the game. The HUD from DX1, which was quite simply awesome (mouse-based etc.) made into a bullshit circular thing, with no real inventory. Guns that look like shit, textures that look like shit...
Oh well. I'm rather optimistic about DX3 though. I guess a mouse-based HUD is out of the question in the Aeon Of The Consoles, but hey...

Well, ditching the skills system didn't actually mean they had to provide you with quite as many biomod cannisters as they did ... that is just poor balancing, and could happen with any upgrade system.
EDIT:
Although admittedly, it does mean there's one less small reward you can give to the player, which might put upwards pressure on the average reward "power", so perhaps I'm being a bit naive. I doubt it would be much of an issue by itself, but perhaps in combination with universal ammo and multitools, all of which reduce the different types of small rewards the player can get, it might have became too hard to frequently reward the player without making him too powerful.

I finished Deus Ex about 3 years ago on PlayStation 2, I had saved at the beginning or midpoint of the final level, so I was able to finish all 3 ways. Fairly intresting. I loved this game, and want one for PS3. :p

Just wanted to try texture pack for DX:IW. Where I can download it? The link on planetdeus.com is dead.

I don´t think , i´m sure it was made with it:) , the graphics, the ambient light, the ai creatures motions, the interface, even the architecture:D , the objects that are pulled by going towards them, and many other things.
Am i right?:D
Yeah, they both are based on Unreal Engine 2. Since it's the same developer, maybe even the same modifed version.

They're based on the UE2 engine, but very heavily modified. TDS uses the same engine as DXIW, although tweaked and optimised.

so I was able to finish all 3 ways.
There're four endings.

Really? They added an ending to the PS2 version of Deus Ex?
