Froghawk that's another good one. I generally hate fan revision theories (see the stupid indoctrination nonsense) but there really does seem to be actual evidence that Adam might not be who the game is telling you he is. And it would link the side missions that didn't really seem connected to the main arc in any way.

So, I have to admit - for all the gripes I've expressed in this thread... I played the game 2.5x in a row (died on permadeath mode for the .5) right on launch, which is something I almost never do. And that's on a below spec machine - I was just having that much fun. When I finished HR, I had no interest in replaying it for a few years. So while the plot may be heavily lacking and the level of corporate meddling is just depressing, the improvements made to the basic gameplay here and the level of detail in the world make this the most fun game I've played since Dishonored. I had to uninstall it to stop myself from replaying the campaign over and over.
I highly recommend NG+ mode since there's no longer a reason to do anything grindey. I did a nonlethal stealth play through the first time, then a murderey play though on NG+, and it was actually fun (unlike in HR and its NG+ mode). I think everyone saying the shooting hasn't been improved hasn't tried doing a side-by-side comparison.

You don't have to do anything gindey on your first play either. About 2/3 of the way through my first game of Human Revolution I learned that my XP whoring habit (hacking & takedowns) was pointless because you get plenty of praxis without it. So I didn't play like an XP whore in Mankind Divided. I did scrounge cash and crafting parts early on in Mankind Divided, but by mid game I had more than I knew what to do with. Really the only reason to grind is if you plan to only play the game once and want to maximize everything you can do in a single playthrough.

I've reached the point where crafting parts are filling up my inventory... But I can't stop collecting them! I think I'm on my tenth stack of 999.

I had 10,000-ish crafting parts by the end, and by halfway I was just gobbling biocells and multi-tools as fast as I could.

Are you guys using the turn-into-parts aug? I've dumped a few grand crafting parts into weapons upgrades, but I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten anywhere near 10,000.

Yes, that was the first Aug I activated. I can't bear to just leave weapons lying around after I knock out their owners!

I don't know how I missed this aug entirely...

It's only available if you got the Tactical Pack DLC or the season pass. I'm not sure I want to stump up for DLC that includes single-use items, I've already got a bunch of them because I got the Collector's Edition (and feeling a bit peeved that it doesn't include the season pass, considering the cost).

Ohhhh I see. The season pass looks like a huge ripoff to me since all I want is the 2 $12 story dlcs, which I'll buy on sale.
