What's worse is that they're not even doing a midnight release. According to Steam, it's coming up around noon tomorrow for me.
JUST RELEASE THE DAMN GAME, HUH?

The reviews of MD make it sound similar, except "overheating" limits what augs can be enabled at the same time.
It would be interesting if there were an energy pool or something that limited which augs you could have installed at one time, and if upgrading individual augs increased how much of that pool they used.

I don't know why people would need more praxis. If it's like DX:HR, there's plenty of praxis available in the game. By 2/3 of the way through HR, I had all the augs I was remotely interested in and I finished with a bunch of unused praxis. The XP bonuses contributed to that, but there was also an abundance of kits if you explore. The result was that there wasn't really any hard choices in character building. The reviews of MD make it sound similar, except "overheating" limits what augs can be enabled at the same time.
Oh, and you get one for preordering. So I've already got 5, I'll have 6 by the end of the week (masterminding Go was pretty easy), and you can get up to 10. Who needs New Game + at this rate?

Re: Pyrian. I agree, especially considering the energy floor was sufficient for takedowns. A patient and sneaky player can clear most levels using nothing but silent takedowns, racking up the XP bonuses while using no resources at all. I found it hard to resist abusing that tactic, but after a while I just couldn't stand watching the same animation over and over.

I'm not exactly sure what it's doing, since it's not actually downloading anything, but it looks like Manky is now unlocked.
Pyrian on 23/8/2016 at 16:14
The countdown is over and it says its unlocked, but it won't play; it still says "not released yet".
Renzatic on 23/8/2016 at 16:24
Yeah, it has to download another 3GB or so before it's officially unlocked, which I'm now FINALLY getting. In about 1 minute, 45 seconds as of writing, I'll be playing.

Mine is decrypting, I think. It doesn't say that, but it's using an awful lot of disk activity. No estimate for when it'll be done.
