Gah I said it before and I will say it again, DE:IW is a damn fine game. SURE it has been dumbed down a bit, but since when was deus-ex about manually inserting codes and silly stats. When Deus-ex came out people were complaining that a trained cyborg couldn't use a sniper rifle without it wavering all over the place, probably the same ones that now complain about DE:IW simplicity. It is about story and atmosphere, and DE:IW delivers. What other game is a deus-ex like experience? With intrigue, Blade runner-like atmosphere, stealth action, good story, good dialogue(ok the acting is pretty bad at times)Be glad with what you get. I enjoyed it very much thank you.

..dumbed down a BIT?! you've gotta be f'kin kidding.an retarded chimpanzee would probably complain about the game being too easy and dumbed down.when I want to play a game,I expect a real challenge, just the deus ex1 way,not some xbox kiddy garbage.and btw,you can be good with sniper rifle from the beginning, just pump all your initial skill points to "rifles" and you are all set.you know what, you can actually choose where to allocate you skill points, and create the combination that suits your needs.yes, choose, thats exactly the thing you cant do in dx2.no replay value,no nothing, just trash, and thats all,the whole game is just wandering around in tiny maps accomplishing murder jobs for all sort of idiots.every second guy asks me to kill his boss/wife/cat/plant.cmon,deus ex its not supposed to be just about killing! I want solve stuff, not just penetrate peoples heads.lame.and all endings suck, bringing either armageddon and destruction or the world will be ruled by some half-naci group of madmen. :tsktsk:

My Social Psychology test was too easy, so I told my teacher that he needs to stop dumbing down, and streamlining his tests, so as to accomodate them to the fickle market place. Page 5 was nothing but True and False! How lame is that? I want choices here, Dr. Kuchera - A, B, C, D, or E. Greater customizability, Sir.
You need to relax. The endings to DX:IW are, in my opinion, among the best endings to any game ever. Granted, I prefer downbeat, depressing endings, but y'know...I find them beautiful. Not one ends how you think it'd end. Didn't you notice DX's irony?
You know...fight giant conspiracy bent on ruling the world -- then, all of a sudden, you're forced into picking a new ruler. All the endings seem dandy until you think about them.
DX:IW just "completes" it. The endings couldn't be more perfect.

I've never played IW, but every fault you [Fragony] point out in DX I thought was fantastic.

Deus ex is the better game, but I think it would have been just as good without the stats. And DE:IW probably would have been better with them, it is a bit too easy to change your style, but I am fine with that. Fun game, no reason not to play it if you liked the first.

I was always thinking about my stats in DX and how my character was going to develop through them. I almost NEVER used the biomods though. When I first they were getting rid of stats I was thinking "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!". Then it turned out not to matter because my computer can't run it.

blah blah blah, i'm a whiney little baby who can't appreciate DX:IW for what is, and for this, i sorely need a sandy cock in my mouth, blah blah blah.

Are you talking to me, abas? I can't enjoy IW because I can't play it!
