the first dues ex was awesome i played it 15 times and even beat it twice in the same week. but something about the dx2 makes it a lot less immerisve. Its still an awesome game and one of my favorites, but the rule of sequls applies here. the charecter development just isnt as good, the interface is a little tricky and much different from the first one and the fact that theres only one ammo type just plain sucks. oh and the utter lack of ammo sucks too. what if i dont want to make an ethical statement through my choices? what if i want to make a more mafia-like warning statement through my choices?
dx2 is still an awesome game, but for as open-ended the plot is, the gameplay itself is more narrow.

One of the main things that bugs me about Shock/DX is the lack of ammo and cost of buying items & info, I know its only cause the developers want to enhance the experience (i.e. it wud be too easy if u started off with 500 rounds)
But as the games go for realism, I find it terribly unrealistic that a trained combat indiviual cant shoot for shit, and no soldier would go into combat with just 1 clip of ammo in the hope that he might pick some up later.
one question, Im saving up for a new graphics card as i have shitty mx, but is it worth getting DX:IW if its so hard to get working?

ya, i expected the MAKO weapons to have like a room with a bunch of ammo in it, but theres only like 4 clips in the entire structure. The lack of ammo isnt there to make it harder its there to encourage stealth. I think the game would just as difficult with twice as much ammo in it.
