a) Yeah, that interface is kinda intrusive -- thankfully, I was allowed to reduce the translucency - 25% made it nice and invisible without being unreadable
b) The lighting effects are awesome
c) Still tons of non-conversational dialogue (that is, right clicking on a character, and how they continue to make one liners)
More later.

LOL Greasels are now used in cockfights. Love hearing from the bartender what they were actually FOR - never did find out exactly why VersaLife was breeding them.

Woo hoo! You can now directly control turrets! It's a gas watching the people going nuts as the turret suddenly has a mind of its own!

Setting your interface at 0% is perfect -- only the health, energy and compass can be seen -- but when you do inventory stuff, the bars return.
Finished the level -- exciting stuff. We have a winner, folks (provided the game isn't 4 hours long - though I doubt it LOL)

Too bad we don't have a Deux Ex 2 forum, eh?
EDIT: Ah, topic moved.

To be fair, we only have a Deus Ex 2 Anticipation forum - this isn't anticipation, it's participation. ;)

It's pretty fun, movement feels a bit odd though and it doesn't perform very well. Should be a good game :)

Harvey Smith: We were pretty serious early on about saying, "Hey, we're not making a console game. We're going to bring our experience to the console."
Son, you'd better smile when you say that. No, seriously.
That said, I choose to remain cautiously optimistic about the full release.

I love it! It's got the style, class, and atmosphere of its predecessor plus tons more. The music is FAR improved and the graphics, though a little on the blocky side, are great simply because of the lighting.
What I don't like is the mouse lag and the fact that the game runs like a retarded gerbil with all its legs cut off on my machine*. I expected it to be a resource hog but DAMN...I figured I'd at least get 20-30 FPS at 800x600, too bad I don't. This game proves that I need to upgrade sooner than I thought.
* FYI: Retarded gimp gerbils run at 10-15 FPS at MOST!

What's your system specs Renz?
