Deus Ex 2 - demo bug... - by LupuZ

Hi all :o
Just started playing da demo of DX2 and apart from da *hud* it seems nice.
But the "game" keeps forgetting my key-settings :confused:
And that's NOT phunny.
I tried the tip to make user.ini NOT write protected - but with no luck :erg:
Anybody out there have any idea???

u kneed 2 phind a phile kould user.ini in moi documentz and /deus ex invisible war demo/system pholderz and wight klik on it wiv yaw moose and selekt properties ven uncheck teh read only bocks. tehn try loading a knew gamez.

The prod seems a little buggy too- i shocked a dude, and stopped shocking him when he fell down, and the arc kept going. Switched to pistol, that arc is still there. Wonderful.

I tried to give the demo another shot today (I'm trying to make myself like it :erm: ) and one of the guards somehow managed to get stuck in a wall. I could see him with my vision aug, but there was no way to get to him and kill him. Strange.

That's a valid question, though :erg:
But the simple explanation is that I'm busy elsewhere (managing a Q3Ut-clan etc).
I do read on the TtLG-forum - from time to time :cool:
