After I have discovert the diary of that murdered starwatcher I need to find the temple of akbaa and destroy the meteor. I went looking in the city, and in one of the rooms near the crypt I heard a guy run away. Then I looked in his book and saw I had to go to the serpentsstatue on the 4th floor. Went to the statue, followed the strange men, murdered them (+the demon). And got in some kind of temple where the demon spawnd. I found 4 ritualdaggers but what do I have to do with them. Or am I playing a whole different quest?!?
By the way,
While following the strange hooded men I heard a girl screaming, where is she: is she the missing girl?

She was the missing girl. The serpent statue priests turned her into that demon..

the pieces of the puzzle fall together, I guess I'm not jet get used to the way Arx Fatalis plays. Still think gothic 2 is better, not so big but the music is better and the characters are more realistic.

ok how do I get the woman at the tavern to tell me the password for the door?
And why is the mother of the missing child still asking if I found her, do I have to bring her something?

The woman (Tizzy) in the tavern isn't going to tell you the password. You'll find that out later on, as the story progresses.
As far as Shany's mum goes... I don't know. I didn't give the cultists a chance to sacrifice her, so she got home safely.
