Ostriig speaks the truth. Personally, I quite like D-Link or Netgear dongles. As for webcams, Logitech make decent and inexpensive models but again you'll probably get them more cheaply from Amazon than from that supplier.

Thanks guys. Guess it's finally time to place my order. :cheeky: Couldn't have done it without your help and advice!

EDIT: Order placed. It'll be here in a week.
I am more excited about this than I was about my (1st) wedding day.

Congrats! I'm sure you'll be immensely happier with that system than the one listed in the thread title. CPU Solutions seem like a good outfit to deal with?

Aha, health to enjoy Dia! :D
Now you need a new monitor, and and maybe another one for multiscreening, and maybe better speakers, and a new gaming mouse, and and and

Thanks Nuth! The guys at CPU Solutions are GREAT!!! I called them with questions on three separate occasions and the two guys I spoke with (Paul and Todd) were exceptionally patient and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this company! :thumb:

Aahhh ..... nothing like accessorizing! :cheeky:
Thanks Matthew!
I'd just purchased a new mouse, keyboard, & speakers about two months ago. As far as a new monitor is concerned, a few years ago I had a flatscreen monitor (can't remember; I think it was an LED?) but was totally unsatisfied with it and ended up going back to my old CRT monitor. I know my old CRT won't last forever but afaic the CRT gives better graphics and enables more intense immersion than the flatscreen I had (plus it provides a warm perch for my little airhead-kitty, Bella Mia, whose furry butt is visible ontop my monitor in the pic). Maybe it was just the flatscreen brand that sucked in the first place, I don't know.
But yeah, I'm totally in love with my new Phenom II! Minor detail: I can hardly hear it when it's on - it's barely a whisper! My old one sounded like a 747 coming in for a landing! ;)

Newer flatscreens from the more reputable manufacturers (including, ironically enough, Dell, as they buy the panels in from Samsung) are very good for gaming, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with a high-quality CRT. :)
