I know about the checkbox for deleting normal posts, but I couldn't find it for the new thread. :confused:

They're one and the same. If you start a thread and then delete your post the whole thing goes (as long as no-one else has replied first).

I have no delete option when I edit. I think that is what I was asking... do we have to enable the option to delete somewhere, smartass..

Actually, having just checked, the delete option has changed since vB2. Now members cannot delete threads at all.
No biggie.
