I found this over at the official forums and thought I'd relay it here.
(
http://www.succesfull.fr/index.php?option=com_succesfull&Itemid=6&l=en&JeuID=895) Achievement List. Minor side quest spoilers. Half of the achievements are secret! That's probably the most secret achievements I've ever seen in a game.
Non-spoilery general ones:
Consciousness is Over-ratedKnock out 100 enemies in a single playthrough.
Deus Ex MachinaExperience all the different endings that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has to offer.
DoctorateRead all 29 unique XP books within a single playthrough.
First HackPerform your first Hack successfully.
First TakedownPerform your first Takedown. Civilians don't count, so be nice.
Foxiest of the HoundsComplete Deus Ex: Human Revolution without setting off any alarms.
Gun NutFully upgrade one of your weapons.
Hax0r1!Successfully hack 50 devices within the same playthrough.
LegendComplete Deus Ex: Human Revolution at its hardest setting without ever changing the difficulty.
OpportunistPerform 50 takedowns within the same playthrough. (Civilians don't count.)
PacifistComplete Deus Ex: Human Revolution without anyone dying by your hand. (Boss fights don't count.)
TranshumanistFully upgrade your first augmentation of choice.
TrooperComplete Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Up the Ante!Upgrade your first weapon of choice.
Also, there's an achievement called "Smash the State".

Boring. Also note that all of them require playing as a non-lethal melee stealthy hacker.

Yeah I do like Foxiest of the Hounds though. That's an actual achievement.
I am so sick of seeing "Babby's first X" achievements. Why do you do this?

Why do you do this?Couldn't agree more. Also, 'do this X times'. Also, 'experience this mandatory event in the storyline'. My favourite achievement ever was 'Little Rocket Man' in Episode 2... though I understand why there aren't more achievements like that :P.

Why do you do this?IMO it makes perfect sense to provide some achievements that are simple to get and/or part of the mandatory storyline, as long as those achievements don't make up the majority and there are other, more interesting ones. Look at game completion stats: lots of people tend not to finish games (regardless of how good they are), so simple incentives can help. In general, it's only logical to have achievements ranging from very easy to very hard or outlandish, as they are stepping stones and a way of marking a player's progress.
As I've said: if a game only offers boring, facile achievements, it sucks, but it'd be stupid to cater *only* to hardcore gamers.

and you're complaining because? I'm sure you'd rather see "make dood blow up 20 feet in air" or my favorite "coool headshot!!1!!!11!!"

Didn't most of us TTLG'ers play as a non-lethal melee stealthy hacker? maybe it was only me...

I only play non-lethal until I get to shoot MJ-12 troopers. Then they get lead in the face. In the face do you hear. Edit: oh, and not so much of the stealth unless it gets me into a good shooting position.

A non-lethal, melee, stealthy, hacking play through of DX.

And on the opposite side of the scale, I'm not really interested in hacking, preferring exploration to find hidden paths or logs containing passwords while remaining as much of a ghost as I can (lethal or not doesn't matter, but ghosting non-hacker). This seems to be rewarded pretty unfairly in HR.
