OK, I got carried away and killed some gaurds, then more gaurds attacked and I killed them, before I knew it I had a death warrant out for me and the Mages guild (I'm working on Warlock status) is threatining me if i don't abide by the law and pay my dues.
So I dropped my entire inventory except money to pay the fine, but they just want to kill me now. I don't care too much about the mages guild except I rely heavily on the teleporting.
Is there a way to take care of this warrant or am I doomed to become a berserker and just start killing everyone anyway. Nobody likes me anymore (except the mages).
If I am doomed to a life of crime would vampirism be a good choice? Or maybe a guild that would like me because of this status?
Opinions please, this is deffinately a turning point to the game. I'm at level 26 and could go back a few levels to fix the prob but don't really want to.

Try charming the guards. If you have the right spell/scroll, you might be able to get them to settle down enough to talk. I'm not sure if this will work, since I generally reload when I get caught (or go on a massive killing spree, then reload:ebil: ). Maybe someone else will know more . . .
Another possibility might lie with the Thieves' guild. I hear they can remove bounties at lower rates and they probably will still talk with you - check corner clubs in the various main towns for the thieves' guild bosses. (Balmora, Ald Ruhn, Sadrith Mora, etc)
Hope that helps!

Right on, I haven't messed with the Thieves Guild this time around yet, my last character was a thief/mage and i was getting my a@@ kicked. This time i have a fighter who sucks at sneaking.
I think I have a charm spell or something but haven't tried it yet.

no, I've heard there's no way to get a deathwarrant of your head without cheating. That means you can cheat as a last resort . But it's all you can do:eek:

I'm pretty sure you can remove death warrants within the thieves guild. It'd be very unlikely that Bethseda didn't have this.
I never got a death warrent because no guards were stupid enough to bother me.

And yet you also wouldn't think they would make it impossible to fix the Indoril armour problem. Making it impossible to correct a situation where guards want you dead is not without precedent, unfortunately.:nono:

Or, if you're on the PC...
Type player->setPCCrimeLevel 0 in the console, and then drop your current bounty into the sea :D

I earned a death warrant too, on my XBox version. Only the Hlaalu Guards attacked me though (it seems to be house-oriented.) I got rid of my bounty by sneaking up on a guard and talking to him first. But they will still chase you. Good news is if you let them get a hit in then you can kill them without getting reported and it doesn't really get that annoying.
And as for the Indoril Armor thing... look at it this way. You have an unlimited supply of money. That armor costs a pretty penny and definately worth selling... There must be a hundred Indoril guards in Vivec alone! Money...
