Valve probably fucked around with the engine again. I'll see if I can get it working.

Korsakovia was unplayable before any engine change, mind you.

You're just mad because I'm right. It's okay, it pisses a lot of other people off too. No wonder the world's such an angry place these days.

Alright, try this: open up gameinfo.txt and replace the contents with:
Code:
"GameInfo"
{
// This is what shows up in the 'Third Party Games' area of the Steam games list.
game "Korsakovia"
title "Korsakovia"
type singleplayer_only
developer "thechineseroom"
developer_url "http://www.danpinchbeck.co.uk/dearesther.htm"
icon "resource\Korsakovia"
FileSystem
{
SteamAppId 218 // engine version / topmost tool access
AdditionalContentId 420 //Ep2
AdditionalContentId 380 //Ep1
AdditionalContentId 220 //HL2
ToolsAppId 211 // Tools will load this (ie: source SDK caches) to get things like materials\debug, materials\editor, etc.
SearchPaths
{
Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game |all_source_engine_paths|ep2
Game |all_source_engine_paths|episodic
Game |all_source_engine_paths|hl2
}
}
}
After doing this, Korsakovia shows up in the list for me, and I can run it. I tried playing a few minutes, got to the first collector encounter. Seems to be working fine.

The remaster that we've all been waiting for... HAHAHAHAHA!
The original stand-alone version was an environmental artist's design portfolio sample made using Source Engine. This re-remake is a design portfolio sample made using Unity.
