Hi guys, I'm back after a loooong siesta and thought I'd install my official deadly shadows game. First problem I noticed was that in the training mission I could not lock pick...no arms...never had this problem before, so I googled and installed the "sneaky upgrade", great, now I could lockpick but could not end the mission, not even if I went right back to where I entered the level and exiting to desktop froze my computer.
I am on Windows 10 running a core i7 4790k 4ghz processor, 32768mb ram and a Radeon R9 200 series Toxic graphics card.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I have been awol for such a long time.

No time to look into this right now, but I'd appreciate if you could upload a savegame from near the end, for later inspection.
You can finish the mission by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Alt+End...

Hi mate, thank you for taking the time to reply...the shift-ctrl-alt-end did not work but then I restarted the game and ran it from your "sneaky" .exe and it worked, however I have saved the game and cannot find it's saved location, it's not in any of the usual places..documents, programme files x86 etc and when I exit the game to desktop I get the desktop but the game is still running in the background frozen my screen and I have to ctrl-alt-del and log out and then log back in to regain control...very odd indeed but I guess it doesn't like windows 10

You can find your saves by looking in the "Thief 3 Sneaky Upgrade" section in the start menu. But if you saved using the unpatched game it may be in the public documents folder instead.
No idea why the game hangs on exit, but try disabling AV, that's the usual culprit. Also do a proper reboot if you haven't in a while. For me, the game works fine with Win10, and always has.

Thanks for that info, I have found the current save folder which should be the Blue Heron save...how do I upload it?..I can only see inset image and insert video...it has been several years since I ws active on ttlg.
Disabling AV is that in the Sneaky Upgrade tweaks please.

You can't upload files here, you'd have to use something else. (Like Dropbox, or some lots-of-ads filehosting service if you must...)
The "Current Save" is for use while the game is loading - it can't be used as a savegame on its own. The real saves are folders with long, weird names, which you can convert to readable form by activating the Plaintext Save Names option in the SneakyTweaker (assuming your saves is where the SU-patched game expects them to be).
AV is anti-virus software.
