So here's the problem, after patching the exe up with the GUI version, i can't seem to enter the game at all, it simply open a command box then flash away.
Does this have anything to do with my copy of Thief being premier version? is there a way around it?

Yes, i did, but there's nothing related to my problem.

Possibly, I have read of people with that version having issues. I think your goinna have to manually patch the exe. See the DDfix sticky or my DDfix thread.

Thats it, i ran out of options, i did what the readme told me to do (Hex editor, cam.cfg, ddfix.ini), instead of running widescreen it stubbonly run in 640x480 with black bars, then the game crashs after mission briefing screen.:(
I have downloaded a patched .exe from a German fan site(thief-universe.com), it still have the same problem as above.

The first part is normal, that's what its supposed to do (and it does that for everyone inc me.)
The second part sounds familiar, is it crashing after the video clip is played or after..?

1: Really? but System shock 2 runs perfectly.
2: The sceen where you can select difficulty for the mission, after i press the "contiune" button, it crashes to desktop.
