RIGHT ON. And it's the kid's fault for being born to a mother who gets knocked up at a frat party! The little shit deserves whatever neglect and abuse he incurs because his mom hates him and he doesn't know who his dad is!
Then again, I guess he could always get adopted because that's pretty simple.

Bigass orphan population and its management leads to more problems, of moral and practical nature, than foetus dumping.
It is so '800.

Personally, I don't think abortion should even come down to a question of ethics or religion, but one of
responsibility. In cases of rape, incest, or molestation, you should be within your rights to abort the pregnancy.
However, if you got knocked up at a party at the local frat house and you have a kid, you should be forced to carry it to term, because you are responsible for your own actions, and if those actions lead to a new life being brought into this world, then so be it. You're an adult, you're responsible, now
act like it.
Apart from anything else, I *love* how the guy isn't even part of the equation. Getting knocked up is the woman's responsibility, obviously.
Never mind how the responsible act in this situation may very well be not to carry the child to term, for instance if you know that you have no way of being a good parent to it. But fett's already addressed that one in his post.

Dude it doesn't matter what the guy did. She obviously wanted it or she wouldn't have gotten pregnant. I say throw the whore in jail.

If I had my druthers, the frat boy who knocked her up should be forced to live with his kid as well as the woman.

You do realize that your contempt for the parents doesn't translate well into compassion for the child? Which I thought was the whole ethical/non-religious angle on being pro-life in the first place.

Must be a side effect of sleep deprivation :/
Ha ha... that's a good one. ;)
fett, on top of the - hard to contain, I must say - contempt for the parents (and I emphasize on the plural), compassion for the child is, for example, in allowing him to keep his life; since no one can actually ask him if he would like to be born or not regardless of how bleak his chances of success in life may appear to be.

Of course, we could offer fostering options to the parents, I suppose. No need to screw the kid because the parents are morons.

For the first time in this thread, I'm speechless.
