Database error... - TTLG Forums

Never posted here, dunno if it's the right place, but well.

When I try to access the forums when I'm logged in, I get this message :

The TTLG Forums database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

* Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
* Open the (www.ttlg.com) home page, then try to open another page.
* Click the Back button to try another link.

The (www.ttlg.com) forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

If I log out, it tells me "Cookies cleared, thank you", I've never asked it to clear my cookies !
The only solution is to log out, go on a subject, try to post, and log in when it says that you need to be logged in to post. As you can figure out, this is very annoying. BTW, I've seen the sticky and followed it (I'm on FF), but cookies were already enabled.

Also get database error but can't add to threads only start new ones! :cheeky:

Same problem as Fidcal ...

If I am logged in and try to access any forum or individual post, I always get the same Database error as reported in Nightstroll's post.

Logging out allows me to access and read forums. However, Nighstroll's trick about replying to a post and logging in from there does not work for me. However, loggging in and starting a new thread works as evidenced here.

I think i started seeing this problem last night. Using Firefox.

NOTE: Logging out, clearing all TTLG cookies (manually) and then logging back in again does not clear up the problem.

I don't think the admins need any more threads saying "hey me too!"

I imagine they can work it out for themselves - it's abundantly clear this is affecting everyone and is a database issue, not something user-related.

That method didn't even work.... But the forums are fixed now.

This thread's instruction still applies to certain users, however.
