Can anyone suggest a subj?
Patch 1.2 adjusted specifically for static lighting mode recently was released for Stalker Skies mod, and it really does the job perfectly, not only nights but weather effects also were improved. However, Stalker Skies also changes sky textures, and they obviously take too much memory for 128Mb cards - the game stutters. So I would like to find a mod that just makes nights darker.

Just delete the textures. ( In ...\gamedata\textures\sky) That gives you the lighting adjustments with the original textures.
Edit: Unless they renamed the textures. Then you have to edit the weather file. Hmmm... OK it may be more complicated than that. Try it and let me know.
