DX2 focused on it so the entire concept is worthless now? You don't have to hate everything remotely associated with that game. If you prefer, remember Ken Levine's quote regarding Bioshock: '... we believe emergence is the future'.

Don't generalize. I didn't hate DE2. On the contrary; I actually liked the demo. That meme was just thrown around too much when it's release was near. And it was absent from the game. Irritating, that's all. The thing is, I've never been a DE fan, not to mention a purist.

So when is this Dark Messiah coming up? I´m bored...all goodies comes around christmas...Oblivion, STALKER, Gothic 3....and old games are getting boring..

STALKER is not Christmas. The devs said they are going to start a 6 month intensive marketing campaign exactly 6 months before release. The earliest release is still 6 + months away, and Gamespot lists it as March, IIRC.

Dark Messiah's released date is currently sometime during summer 2006.
But this is not a graved in the stone release date, and the producer could decide to change it.
