Hi there!
I´ve got a problem- a very big one!
I found the hideout of the DarkBrotherhood, and now I´m trying to exterminate ´em all. well, so far so good.
So now, there´s this first big cave in which they´re hiding, and I chose ONE door leading me to some big boss, or somebody, who ´s got a Daedric LongBow.
As I´m trying to kill ´im, he suddenly begins to talk to me and says" You dare yadayada, a speedy death yada yada". And this he says over and over again, I can´t quit this conversation!!!!!
Whenever I press "Goodbye" , it starts anew.
So now, I´ve tried it with other attacks, or ways of fortifying my attack.
I cast Adrenaline Rush, and currently I´m trying to bash this bastard with a Daedric DaiKatana of mine, enchanted, of course " fire dAmage 25 to 60 pts" on strike!
well..there´s the problem...but where´s the solution?
Should I enter the room, first talk to him and then attack him, or ....what do I have to do?
A friend of mine had the same problem, yet I don´t know how HE fixed it...
Morrowind+Tribunal+Bloodmoon. v. 1.5.629 or something like it.

Try asking your friend how he fixed it.
Otherwise, you could try patching your game up to the latest version. If that doesn't work, try killing him from a distance with spells or distance weapons so he can't talk to you.

It's was a bug that was fixed in the patch. It annoyed the poo outta me until the patch was released. It just scrolled 'Goodbye' over and over. If you've got the patches, I don't know it's still doing it. Try uninstalling Morrowind + Expansions, then reinstall Morrowind, patch it, install Tribunal, patch that, then install Bloodmoon and patch that, all with their corresponding patches. That's the way I did it and mine works fine.

well, okay, I did it the way you told me to.
DeInstall, the install Morrowind +Tribunal+tribunal patch+ BloodMoon( and I even patched Bloodmoon)
erm...
ARRRRRRRRRRGH it didn´t work.
Isn´t there some form of console-command, which kills the one next to you?!
Maybe I should have tried killing him having installed TRibunal+Patch only...hm..
Well, thats´outta the question, I won´t rerun the installation .
So, console-cmd?

The console commands to get round this particular bug (don't bother trying to talk to him anymore):
journal TR_DBHunt 100
journal TR_DBHunt 110
I think these two will complete the quest.

I´ll try!
For the time being, I took a lok into the Editor and found out he had this contract with him.
So now, I placed this contract into my room, now I´ve got a journal update, I went to a High Ordinator , who told me I should go to some weird guy( weird because his name was weird, but whose isn´t in Morrowind? :D )
Now, the question again is, wether it is a problem if this Dandra Vules(?) isn´t killed or not.
Can I just leave this guy waiting for me in the sewers?

i have fixed all bugs i came across by editing scripts. the talking thing happens when i play for a long time and talk bout alot of things. if all else fails, save alot and edit scripts.
