Bah! Now i can't complete all East empire company Quests, becuse i killed Graring.I've replaced him using the console, but when i speak to Falco about "assignment" , He says: "...But i've heard thier leader, Graring is dead.Which means, we'll never figure out how to break the ice.."
I've heard you can add a Journal entry using the Construction set, But i don't know how.
Someone, Please help.

I haven't killed Graring, but he won't talk to me- I just get the 'goodbye' option. Any ideas, anyone? I haven't had dealings with Graring's lot beforehand. Well, I've been past and tried to talk, but they wouldn't, so I left them alone. Now they should respod but they don't. Help me too, please!

I can help you.
Somewhere near Grarings house, I think it's to the East, there's a person called Coventina Celata.
She's going to kill Graring.Talk to her and she attacks you, IIRC.
Then, when she's dead, Talk to graring and he gives you a ice pick, And he explains to you what to do next.
Now... Help me!

*Oops, I did it again and forgot to check which forum I was posting*
*Spoiler alert! (someone move this thread, please)*
I am not familiar with the quest, but I agree that it may be possible to fix your problem through journal entry manipulation.
Load the construction set (with the Masterfiles), and find the Journal Entry Preview (or something like that). I think you can access it through the Dialog section of the editor. Search through the list of quest codes to find the code for the quest that you are engaged. I assume this is a House Hlaalu quest, so it will be among the HH_ quests. Once you found the appropriate quest (it may be difficult to confirm until you open it), select it and it will display a list of journal entries associated with that quest (e.g. HH_Icepick 10 might be the journal entry associated with initiating the quest). Make a note of the indices (10, 20, 50, 100, etc.) and the corresponding message. I expect that there may be one (perhaps 110) that reports that Graring is dead.
Now load your most recent save and through the console type: GetJournalIndex, HH_Icepick (or whatever it is) and it should return a value corresponding to one of the indices that you've researched. If my hunch is correct, it will return the value 110. Now you may type: SetJournalIndex, HH_Icepick, xx, where xx is the index for the point in the quest that you would like to return. [I'm working from memory, and I am not certain that I have the correct syntax for those console commands, you may wish to check them before you close the construction set; reference Help.]
If this doesn't work, there may be some kind of global variable that was affected at the time you retired Graring, but I doubt that. Should that be the case, there is probably a way to correct that through the console, but I don't know off-hand what the command would be. I hope this gets you back on track.

Thanks, I'll try that.
After typing GetJournalIndex, co_8 , i got 0.00.

Yup, this is the wrong forum, but someone will move it in due course.
Thanks, Sliezer- I talked to Coventina and she was lovely and polite to me, did not attack me, and had nothing to say about Graring.
I am, therefore, still stuck. Maybe I'll try taunting her. Or maybe it'll be fixed in the patch?
*off to read the bloodmoon patch readme*

Hrm.. Kill Coventina and then speak with Graring.
