is it possible to loot his body? he always falls into the lava and I can still hear the "battle" music and I can't rest and it says "an enemy is nearby" which I am guessing is Dagoth Ur but inside the lava. help please

You can not defeat Dagoth Ur unless you have Sunder, Keening (hammer and sword found in the buildings of Red Mountain around Dagoth Ur) and the Wraith mail from Lord Vivec. Both keening and sunder will kill you if you equip them without the wraith mail. However, you can use them without wraithmail, but it is tricky. [SPOILER]You need to bind keys to quick weapons, and you need to be a level at least in the 30's. Now you need a ring or 2 of healing - potions and spells help too. Bind 3 keys - 1 to Sunder, 1 to keening and 1 to a basic weapon. Right NOW PLS SAVE YOUR GAME!, press the one to equip sunder, hit the heart once or twice, then quickly press your key for the basic weapon. Now heal your self. Now repeat the same thing but use keening. Keep doing it until the heart dies.[/SPOILER]

yeah i did all that [SPOILER]I destroyed the heart with sunder and keening[/SPOILER] but my question is "is there a way to take stuff from dagoth ur's body?"
oh and on another note... do you know where there is a daedric tower shield? thanks

No, he is a god and dissapears when u kill the heart. The enemies are slaves above and below you in the cavern. They fire fireballs at you. Daedric tower shield....cant remember off hand but you can give yourself one from the console. [SPOILER]player->additem "daedric_towershield" 1[/SPOILER] :)

You can defeat Dagoth Ur in his second form. I got bored one day and set my strength to 10,000. I killed him... but he isn't carrying anything useful.

ITS WRAITHGUARD!!!!!!! not "wraithmail"................................right now i have 2 wraithguards... got 1 from Vivec in main quest and other when i killed vivec. i had to get it activated by yargrum.
