Well, you could aid me on my quest to find the real villain in Morrowind. I beleive him to be the head of an evil, tightly organized community of social outcasts whose sole duty is to capture wild cliff racers, follow you around through complex sets of mines and caves, and release these cliff racers every two seconds after you kill one. So far, no one in the game has mentioned this organization, I have not seen these people in action, and I have been known to create crackpot theories. But I swear that they are there!!!! They are indeed a clever, annoying foe...mmmmmm......vanilla villain...

You can't have played all the quests with one character- it's just not possible. Have you tried being a vampire yet?
And yes, get the expansions.

u r so lucky that they release a cliff racer every two seconds after u kill one... the ones that follow me release at least 3 cliff racers at once... and they usually do that when i ve already fallen into an unexpected fight with a hunger, a kagouti, a skeleton, an ascended sleeper, a cave rat, an orc, while also a winged twilight screamin to my ear and trying to kick me, a kwama forager trying to kiss me, a witchhunter waiting for me to talk to her and hasn't got a brain to run away from all that cloudy battlefield. then i hear that holy sound coming from the skies... a cliff racer...or two... or three... maybe more... join the enemy:mad:

Join one of the great houses (Hlaalu, Hlaalu!;) ). And become Master of every faction.

Or wander the wilderness admiring the scenary and happening across crazy little quests and cool hidden caves.

I find the best bet is to create a seperate character for each set of quests you do. You need at least three, for all the great houses, and I made a seperate character for the Fighter's,Thieve's, and Mage's Guilds. Then you can create another character for the Tribunal Temple, allthough your Nereverine character works well for that one. Then another character can do both the Imperial Legion and the Imperial Cult. Then three vampire characters for the three clans, though I only used one. Then you can get Tribunal and Bloodmoon, but you'll need a couple seperate chars for that. You should use your main Neraverine char for the Tribunal mainquest, and you can use that character for the human portion of the Bloodmoon quest. However the werewolf portion should use a different char. I used my Fighter's guild one. Then you need two other chars for the Raven Rock quests, though I spose you could use your Nerevarine char for the Falco quests, but I suggest the Hlallu or Telvanni chars for the Carnius part.
Wow, what the hell was my point? Oh yah, by maintaining specialization in characters, and not just being the Jack of all Trades, going around becoming master of everything, you facilatate the need for more characters, and it is a different experiance going through as each of them. Also, while it is alot of work to go through the beggining levels several times, it is worth it when you have several disctinct characters, all special, all with different abilities. Also, this way you get to play with all sorts of equipment, instead of just the uberest stuff, you get the best of each class of stuff, as well as experiancing the low, and medium of each class of stuff.

Somone previously mentioned that there were few grand or greater soulgems in the game?
There is a formula(which I do not know)that the computer runs to see what the leveled loot in a dungeon is.
Just to let you know, some people may say that certain creatures are in certain places in the game. There are VERY few creatures that are given a specific place in the game. These creatures are things like Dagoth Gares, or other unique enemies(the betty and bull netch outside of Hla Oad?) Most of the rest of creatures are either random drops placed in a general area every time you access a region(like cliff racers in the ashlands) or leveled creatures. Leveled creatures are things that are generated determined by your current level(for instance. If I enter an Ancestral Tomb when I am level 2, There will probably be a skeleton, skeleton archer, or ancestral spirit. At level 20, I will probably encounter dremoras, winged twilights, etcetera.
The loot in leveled loot containers is based on your current level, and your luck. I tested this theory out. I started the game, and cleared the Addamanastraus cave out of enemies. I checked the bins. Maybe an Ephiggies Gem Scroll here or a Lesser soul gem there... I came back recently. WOWSA. One bin had a dwarven war axe, a scroll of Eklashes Lock Splitter, and 2 grand soulgems. I grabbed that grand one, and a grande from another bin(which also contained telvanni bug musk and some other valuables).
This is a very nice way to go around.
