Hehe, I just summened a Golden Saint before attacking the heart and he was still fighting her when I destroyed the heart, then he jumped in to the lava and never came back.;)

Why? because my old character I had used a spell that was 100 frost damage and 100 fire damage for 10 seconds and I couldnt kill Dagoth Ur. And yes it costs like 400 magicka. And yes, my strenth was 100. Maybe, I guess its just different in games. Do you have the pc version, cause i have xbox? o well, peace

My fight with Dagoth ur was funny as heck. I beat him in meele no problem with only like 3-4 hits then when he was like godly and the like I went and attacked him and we fought for a while untill I desided to just go and shatter the stone. I lept down to the bridge and missed it! Lol then it was me and him sitting in the lava duking it out for so freaking long. I had about 600 life 400 mana and healing spells galore but eventualy I had to fall back and I used my Icarian flight ring to leap up to the bridge and shatter the stone.:laff:

I barely know what happened with Dagoth Ur. I fought him yesterday and I kicked his but so hard and so fast if was over in the blink of an eye. But then I'm level 73.
I summoned a Golden Saint cause I though there was something to be scared of and ran up and hit him twice. He disapeared.
I picked up the ring went through the doors, ran throught the room and jumped down on to the bridge bellow. Then I severe the heart and Dagoth Ur was like screaming at me and I him him again and he fell down like a sissy and one more time and he was toast. Then I saved it right away, and good thing too cause it froze up on me couple seconds later when I tried to talk the translucent lady.
I learned to save quite often and have more than one file, cause mine game had gotten screwed up a couple of times :grr:

My golden saint pushed him into the lava. Made for the easiest boss fight in any game I've played. ^_^

I actually once attempted to make a mod that made "boss" creatures - the Ash Vampires and Lord Dagoth himself - more powerful. The idea was that there would be several versions that would appear depending on you're level. The lowest one was just a more powerful version of the original, but the highest Dagoth Ur was supposed to be Level 90 (or thereabouts) and had a number of special powers, including the ability to disrupt spells and disable enchanted items. At least, he would have, if that didn't require an enormously complex web of scripts and special invisible placeholder creatures and dialog and whatnot to get it to work. If only we could create new Magic Effects.
It was a shame, really. I've never heard of a mod to successfully beef-up the boss monsters convincingly.
