I'm a little hesitant on posting this, since I know about TTLG's strict 'no piracy' rule. Before you turn away in disgust, let me explain myself! I've been looking for a copy of Daggerfall for a while now and wasn't able to find one.
I'm just wondering if anyone could direct me to a place where I could download it, or if someone would be kind enough to put it on an FTP server. I'm sorry about asking, but I'm eager to play the older TES games. I still have Arena, which I downloaded from the Bethesda site!

i tried to download 'Arena' too. Where do I get that "Emulator" thingi. I've been wanting to play, but it says I need an emulator?.?.
Daggerfall: Try the morrowind site online store. I couldent imagine it being mora than $20.00 SHIPPED. If you want it for free... :ebil: Cant help ya' there buddy.

*removes his black eyepatch* Fair enough. I'll have to wait until I have my own credit card to get it. Unless you all want to chip in and get it for me for my birthday :cheeky:
I'm using DOSBox from Sourceforge.net, too, though I wish I had seen the link to that on the Morrowind site first. I spent a good hour searching for it. It's pretty straight forward once you get it. Just download and install, then drag any executable (.exe) file, like Arena, onto it, and it'll be run in DOS. I've been spending the past few hours playing Betrayal at Krondor, which is surprisingly cool.

While Hotu might be legal(maybe) I wouldnt even meantion it here on TTLG though. It's probably the only controversial issue on TTLG :)

Well, I was going to go down kicking and screaming, fighting to say HOTU was legal. But then I read their about page and found the sentence, "We believe that providing games that have been abandoned by their publishers, while technically illegal, is a valuable service to the gaming community because these games are in danger of disappearing into obscurity, and their copyright holders no longer derive any revenues from them."
*sighs resignedly* I suppose I'll let Striker decide if I can put a link up.

For the record, answer = No.

Try ebay, or whatever the hell its called. My friend got Daggerfall from there, I think.

Daggerfall is really hard to find now.
Find a fat, ugly girlfriend who is over eighteen and with a credit card and get her to buy it for you.
