Anything with Rob Schneider in it.
Oh, wait. Those're just disgusting. Hmm.
Dark Star. Damn was that movie brilliant. Never seen anything so intentionally cheesy and funny in, like, ever. The latter Evil Dead movies come damn close, though.

Kung Pow was pure fromage. Some really good bits and a lot of really horribly unfunny bits.
Starship Troopers and Total Recall are both awesome and anyone who says different doesn't deserve an opinion and I cannot be swayed on that point :grr:

Total Recall was satire, y'know.
Seriously!

Trying to pin down what's cheesy seems to be where some of this is going, particularly with Starship Troopers. I haven't read the book. I found the movie unwatchable, shower scene or not.
For a class, I had to read an article by Susan Sontag, "Notes on Camp." Camp seems to be a less cynical, fond way of looking at cheesy things, an aesthetic even. Worth a read, even if it comes off as a bit irritating at points: (

I see someone mentioned Hudson Hawk early on. For me, that fine film damn near defines cheese. For me, cheese has to vacillate in between intentionally and unintentionally bad, and Bruce Willis's little ego trip virtually lept in and out of those boundary lines.

Belly. Is this cheese, or is it just horrible? Also,
The Villain, which comes complete with live actors running around to the music from Looney Tunes.

I definitely felt the woman with three tits was there to pose a question regarding the sexualisation of female anatomy.

Sad lack of Highlander in this thread.

I honestly can't tell if it's parody or not, in any case, it looks like gold.
A New Zealand film about Killer Sheep?

I've seen sillier movies that don't necessarily consider themselves parodies.

...STARSHIP TROOPERS...I liked it so much. ... It was also a kick-ass action movie.
I've never really gotten the whole point of cheese- 'So bad it's good' just doesn't register for me.
That's, um, an interesting contrast. :D
