You realize that the movie Zathura was based on the BOOK Zathura, which was the sequel to the book Jumanji, yes?

Ghosts of Mars. The film itself doesn't scare. It is the thought of watching it again which scares. :cheeky:
It's John Carpenter. Pure action and absolutely no compromise when it comes to cheesy fun versus realism. I really enjoyed it. ;)

I thought a sequel had to at least be partially related to its predecessors, rather than a shear rip-off(yes i believe a writer can ripoff his own work) of plot followed by change in setting(jungle to space).
but still, even if it is a sequel:
Jumanji > Zathura
And I still consider Zathura cheesy, so i believe it fits within the basis of this thread.

TopGun without a doubt.
Me and 2 other guys were actually talking about it today. It got brought up because we got a new machinist in the shop today named Maverick. I almost introduced myself as Iceman but was able to control myself.

Possibly not all that daft or cheesy, but about as campy as the Batman TV series with Adam West:

The first one wasn't bad actually, albeit it didn't take some of the more interesting premises to their conclusion. The other two weren't really as good.

Six weeks I have been racking my brain, trying to answer this question, a question that has challenged the greatest minds since the dawn of cinema: "What is the greatest cheesy movie?"
Today it came to me.
