I've got 2 daedric prince quests going atm and i need help completing them.
the first one is where i have to kill Oryen Bearclaw to set the record straight about the Bearclaw legend being fake.
the second is from the prince of madness where i have to get the fork of harriplaton or something and kill a bull netch with it.
I've done both quests and now im trying to get the rewards from the princes but when i got to the statues in the shrines i got the quests from they wont talk to me!
The prince of madness quest may be knackered as i accidentally killed Big Head the madman before i realised that there was a journal entry saying 'i hope he can help', but the Bearclaw one i've done to the letter im sure.
Any ideas people?

I had trouble with the Fork of Horripilation, too. Did you make sure to kill the netch with the Fork? The quest reads that you need to get the Fork, which I did, and then go outside and kill the netch, which I did. It didn't specifically say that you had to kill the netch USING the Fork, so I got the Fork but didn't equip it, and screwed it up the first time. I went back and tried several times, and finally got it right by wearing him down with one weapon and then switching to the Fork at the last minute to finish him off. Until I did that, the daedra wouldn't talk to me.

I think oryen bearclaw has something that you need to bring to the statue. maybe a ring, or his weapon?

Well who knows? um...With the bear quest type in Journal "DA_Malacath"60 And if it works than it is obvious that you didn't do the quest good and proper.
If it doesn't work than either you already have the helmet or it is bugged, in the bugged case use the console:

And you must kill the bull netch with the finnishing blow, the you can smash him down first but that is less fun. But you must also bring the fork to sheogorath. You should have got the journal update Journal "DA_Sheogorath" 60 when you killed him saying you did everything required.

i reckon it might be a bug cos i killed the netch using only the fork :erg: The only thing i can think is that it might have something to do with me killing Big Head The Madman.
Ah well, i'll go check these out. Cheers guys :thumb:
