After toying around with various ways I finaly give up.
Is it possible to watch the cutscenes/movies on vista64 (+quadcore, Nvidia graphiccard), anyone managed to do this and how does he do this?
I tried anything the FAQ sayd. Every three ways result either in the info that there is a more actuall version of indeo codecs, or

I tried it with the english t1g version
I tried it with the german thief 2 (Sat1 edition)
I eve tried Garret and DrakLoader... both didn't help...
both produced the same errors.
My PC:
Intel P5e (4x ~2,7gHz)
Nvidia Geforce GTX 260
4gb
Vista 64bit

Update: T2 seems to run now smooth. With working cutscenes....
Fxed it fia manual ddfix.dll +run in admin mode.
Something strange here, as soon as i run things in adminmode it runs smooth... I slightly wonder why this is never mentioned in all those FAQ's around here?
Don't tryed T:G today... need to work.
A small note to ddfix, if i change the resolution game seems to crash...mhm needs more testing. Or is it limited to some resolutions only? tried it with 1680x1050... game looks a second or two funny then crashes...

The FAQs haven't been updated in eons, likely several years.
Also there's the "Enhanced Resolution Patcher", it's one the stickies, you can't miss it. BTW, you want to use a FOV of 100 with 16:10 resolutions.
