I pulling my hair, if i had any. I just trying to add some custom voices. I have done it before, but could not remember how i got it to work. I have put the folder in snd. And added the name in dromed. Under speech/voice. I tied to add it under archetypes/sound/voice too. But the AI is silent. Tried to add the folder name in the speech.spc file too. Do i need a schema, or maybe add something in an existing schema file?

Never forget to reload_schemas

I did that, several times :)

If you don't want to write a custom schema, then you can use an unused schema and rename the sound files accordingly. Burrick maybe.

I did not remember doing that in Mortuos Liber. I looked through all the schema files, did not find anything on "vguard7" that i used. What i remember, i just placed the "vguard7" folder in "SND" and it just worked. Dont remember doing a schema file.

Ok, i have a question, maybe to much to ask, but i would appreciate it. If someone good dromeder, would look at my Mortuos Liber Campaign. How the heck did i get the custom voices to work without schemas? I used at least two of them. "VGuard7" and "Ogre". My brain is melting right now.

In the speech.spc file you should add the voice name i.e. vguard7, not the folder name. Every voice has or needs its own schema file, so if you don't have one for vguard7, you can load sg1.sch, change all of the vguard1 to vguard7 and then change all of the wav files to yours.

If you installed dedx then I believe both of those schemas would be present already. You might have just used the same wav file names for each voice.

Yes, i could do that. But this is a mystery for me. The vguard7 is not in the dedx package. And i cant get into my head, how does it work in Mortuos Liber and not now. I did a test, in my other dromed install, i putted all the Mortuos Liber files and did a test. It worked. I tried to put all the snd and schema files from Mortuos Liber to my dromed install, where i work on my current FM. That does not work. I feel really stupid now.

Nobody knows what you did. The Mortuos Liber Camapaign has vguard7 in the gamesys, so you loaded the schemas in the past accordingly or did you use another gamesys?
You included schemas in the zip. But this schema doesn't contain vguard7 schemas. If you reload the schemas, vguard7 will be deleted from the gamesys.
You might scan your hard drive for the schemas. You're looking for SG7.sch. Most likely.
I always recommend Agent Ransack to search things on HDD.
