Pop culture has come around to revisiting the '70s again.
Maybe that krautrock I like is going to come back in style.
I'm not a massive St. Vincent fan but this came out a few years ago and was surprisingly Bowie-ish.

Which particular Krautrock?
Anyway here is another fast food one. The guy with the long hair reminds me of Dave and that kinda stabs my heart but it's a good punk sound.

Speaking of seventies music coming back, here is one that captures the funk of that time. I think I had my graduate pic taken in that tux. My bowtie was bigger though.

I don't know, I was just thinking if the 70's are cool then maybe we'd have another 90's-ish krautrock revival. I like tons of it though; Michael Rother is one of my favorite musicians so I rate Neu! and Harmonia highly, and Cluster/Roedelius/Moebius, and Kraftwerk of course, and Can, and Faust, and Popol Vuh, and Amon Duul II, and Tangerine Dream before they toured America (it's weird, but that seems like a distinct line between their early stuff up to the Sorcerer OST and their kind of meh stuff), and...christ, I dunno, it's all good.
Speaking of 90's krautrock revivalism, Stereolab are making new music again and the record they put out this year is great. And last year what will presumably be the final 2 Broadcast records came out, pretty amazing collections of demos that span their entire catalog including things that would have been on their next album if Trish hadn't suddenly passed away.

I'm more of a Rammstein fan of the late 90's. They haven't been the same since Du Hast Mich though.
But I think I would like to hear the only band poisoned by Putin right now.

First day off in a month, probably last day off for a month, Amazon Japan comes through and gives this almost a week early. Know what I'm listening to today.
