I like prog as much as the next guy, but this Tiny Desk grabbed all my attention recently. I was initially nonplussed by the costumes, but then I realised that was part of the deal - I was hearing a fusion between Korean folk singing and rock amongst other things while they were channelling shaman traditions, and these three vocalists are an absolute trifecta of talent, even if the first song only has the two flanking the main singer going, 'ha ha ha ha... oh? oh!?', and 'ah' as counterpoint. The second and third songs let 'em rip, and... sheesh. Wow.

I've been randomly trying new music on Spotify. I used to do the rabbit-hole video surfing on YouTube for new music but YouTube kind of sucks in more ways than one these days.
I don't know what song I searched and started the randomness the other day but I saved a few from Anna Ash, CCFX, Courtney Barnett, Jenny Lewis, Beck, Elliot Smith, The Breeders, Built To Spill, Fugazi, and more Beck. I don't even know what genre it's all in. For a while I was into 90's Canadian grunge bands when I was digging up stuff on YouTube.

the genre is slightly boring pop/rock with some acoustic vibes

I use this site every month or so to plump up my new finds: (
https://discoverquickly.com/)
You hover the mouse over track/artist thumbnails, and when you click it adds them to a temp playlist and expands the rabbit hole. You can then export the playlist to your main Spotify.
