I thought this guy made a great fan video of the street side of The Wire with Benjamin Booker's "Kids Never Grow Older".

Sorry to hear that Tocky. Sucks to retire on a sour note. If I had to guess, I'd say that business is probably doomed anyway. With a guy like that in charge, he's going to have turnover and it's only a matter of time before he pisses off a customer and starts to burn the company's reputation. If you're not ready to stop working, maybe you can find a builder or supplier who needs an office manager or something like that. Residential construction still seems to be booming everywhere. I have an in-law who was pushed into early retirement, got bored, and took a job as a bank teller to stay busy for another 6 or 7 years. Good luck.
Here's my listener contribution, Franklin's Tower by Robert Hunter. It was written in 1975 after the turmoil of the 1960s and the end of the war in Vietnam as the country was coming back together to celebrate US Bicentennial. The subject is the Liberty Bell, and it was written partly as a message to his newborn son and partly for the nation. The message, though a bit vague and overly literary, is that when we are confused of direction or lose our way, we should return to the founding principles of the nation that came out of that First Continental Congress in Philadelphia. Seems relevant in light of today's politics.

There are worse ways to start the day than having Android Auto throw this at me:
