Ms. Pires plays Claire de Lune just right. It should always be played with that pain and longing. Strange how me and Vae can like the same music but be at such odds in our estimation of people.
Here is a blues standard done well at a studio I have passed on my way to Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. Unlike MSSS it is a working studio. It is set up so similar I thought it was MSSS at first. I've even eaten at that chicken place just glimpsed near the end. I've driven millions of miles around the south. I miss it sometimes.
